Christ the King College raise £500

Cheque presentation

Christ the King College in Sidcup handed over a cheque for £500 to the chair of You Touch Africa. The money will go to Kiraracha School in Tanzania.

Toby and Sinéad take part in Triathlons

In their own words: "Toby will foolishly be attempting Ironman South Africa while Sinéad has rather more sensibly opted for a Thames Turbo Sprint triathlon". For more details and to sponsor them, please visit their JustGiving page.

Vanessa and Craig's Kilimanjaro Climb

Vanessa and Craig climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds for for Kiraracha Primary School, in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.


Matt and Joe walked Hadrian's Wall

In September 2010, Matt and Joe Gibbs trekked 41 kilometres along the Hadrian's Wall from Lanercost Priory to Broccolitia Roman Fort to raise funds for You Touch Africa.


Fr Arbo undertakes a sponsored cylce ride

Fr. Arbo Lekule undertook a 60 mile sponsored cycle rideto raise money for Kiraracha Primary School in the village in which he was born.


Jenny climbs Kilimanjaro

Jenny Fernandez undertook a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro to pay for a cooking area at Kimanganuni Primary School at which she was a volunteer. The school is in a poor area of the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.

Julia Reynders raised funds for You Touch Africa by successfully running the 2008 London Marathon! The money was used to repair the roof of Makomu Primary School, Tanzania.

St. Luke's Sixth Form College, through the initiative of Loraine Shakesheff, were very successful in raising over £2,000 at their Summer Fair to assist a Vocational Training School in Africa.
