Jenny Fernandez undertook a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro to pay for a cooking area at Kimanganuni Primary School at which she was a volunteer. The children and teachers of St. Joseph's School staged a successful 'Hairy Christmas' fundraising event. More photographs.
Julia Reynders raised funds for You Touch Africa by successfully running the 2008 London Marathon! The money was used to repair the roof of Makomu Primary School, Tanzania.
St Luke's Sixth Form College, kindly donated textbooks and lab equipment for an African school.
St. Luke's Sixth Form College, through the initiative of Loraine Shakesheff, were very successful in raising over £2,000 at their Summer Fair to assist a Vocational Training School in Africa.
